Visiting Thailand was quite the adventure. I left more inspired than ever to travel and seek out new experiences. Thailand has so much to offer with its pristine beaches, bustling cities, friendly locals, and delicious cuisine.
One of my favorite experiences in Thailand was visiting the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary in Chiang Mai. It was magical getting to feed and hang out with these incredible animals.
If you are looking to party like a rockstar, you should spend some time exploring around Khao San Road in Bangkok or better yet head to Koh Phangan for a Full Moon Party. Make sure to hop in one of the tricked-out tuk tuk’s if you are partying in Patong Beach for the ride of your life.
Chiang Mai has amazing night bazaar’s if shopping and live music is more your style. You can even get some crazy bargains, be the first customer of the night, it is considered good luck! Chiang Mai is also a great place to peruse numerous intricately designed temples.
Does diving or snorkeling tickle your fancy? Make sure to visit the island of Koh Tao. On this tropical island, you can simply relax at a bar by the beach or become a certified scuba diver. I would recommend hiring a driver to take you on your own private tour around the island in a long tail boat. Take a taxi boat to Koh Nang Yuan and hike to the top for an awe-inspiring view of these three islands connected by a sandbar.
Thailand is such a wonderfully diverse country with unlimited possibilities. If you haven’t visited yet, what are you waiting for? Pack a bag, throw in a cute bathing suit, and have the time of your life!
